Just realised thet they added Clan Nova Cat and Steel Viper. Will we get the other Clans as choosable Faction? I mean, they already have all the decals so why dont they just add the other Clans?

Well in October we should be getting Clan Wolf-in-Exile I would hope considering the Arctic Wolf is exclusively a Wolf-in-Exile design and used exclusively by them. As far as the Battlemech version of them, I am not sure that exists in lore.

Sure, if you add all the other IS minor factions too.

And add the FedCom and the Lyran Alliance (if it is late 3057); FedSuns and LyrCom don't exist in 3057.

Just a quick check in FM:U shows that the Arctic Wolf was used regularly by Ghost Bears, Nova Cats, and the (2nd) SLDF too, though mostly in the second line. (It also made its way into the ranks of the Kell Hounds, but that is much later).
And yes, the BattleMech variants are fully canonical, including official record sheets (RS:3060). The only PGI created variant is the -P. Actually, the BattleMechs were first, as the OmniMechs were introduced some eight years later.

that was an argument, but since Clans and IS factions are now unified ingame that doesn't matter anymore

Who doesn't, we don't want to be the big four all the time. If the Nova Cats and Steel Vipers can get their freedom, so should the rest of the clans. Even with the Pentagon Worlds opened up PGI might as well put in new clans.

Well, depending one how far forwards you go, the only Clans left in the Pentagon Worlds are the Bastion Clans, namely, Clan Coyote, Clan Star Adder, Clan Cloud Cobra, and Clan Stone Lion.

No. Negotiations for a merger of FRR and Ghost Bear Dominion started only in 3070. It foreshadowed during the FCCW, but that's it. Dominion and FRR are two seperate states in the 60ies. And in 3057 the Dominion does not even exist.
