After 7 days of waiting for my falcon loyalty to end i took on a new cotract then realised that i was freelancer not a merc... Disbanding the one man unit I had did not work?
Now what?
Sit for a week waiting for the pop up?

Yeah i wanted to jump around factions to get some mechbays....now im stuck like this.

the amount of brutal beating you take when not in a bigger unit can hardly be described
nothing we have now compares to phase one man was I ever exploiting the system lol
what a joke
people in big units could get to rank 25 twice before a solo could even get close to the top rank
problem with PGI is they got there heads screwed on backwards
no matter what your doing or fun your having PGI does not like it
fire your weapons well we cant have that lets hit them with heat
hey those guys see to well lets nerf heat and night vision we don't want anyone having any fun
hey look at all those people with modules ---well we cant have that lets take that stuff away
there is not one thing you do or think you want to do that they either want to prevent it or take it away or nerf it
solo unit players exploiting the game mode ha ha

Problem is with this 7 day limit, why cant I just pay to end the contract....ok i did not read up propper on how this has changed and how it works now.... adn I would be ok with that if at least I could change the contract to a merc contract to be able to launch the search and not have to wait for the pop up.....Just let me play!

• Faction Play (Mercenary Career): Fixed a loophole whereby Mercenary Pilots could bypass intended Contract restrictions by hopping between sub-Units operated by the same over-arching Unit population or command structure, yet contracted to different Factions. For example, Unit ABC is Contracted to Liao, but operates sub-Units ABC1, ABC2, and ABC3, all of which are Contracted to different Factions. We are making these changes to address active 'gaming' of the Contract system.
Under the previous system, leaving, being ejected from, or Disbanding a Unit would clear out the current Contract for the player and make them a Freelancer. Under the new system the current player Contract will remain in place after leaving, being ejected from, or Disbanding a Unit. That Contract must expire as normal before the player can accept a new Contract, create a new Unit, or join any existing Unit, even if the Unit is currently operating a Contract with the same Faction.
At least it's only 7 days for mercs.

It's not an achievement, it's part of the punishment for taking a loyalty contract at the start of Phase 3.
Uncle Russ in his infinite wisdom decided not to reset faction contracts at the start of phase 4.1.
So now it's a hostage situation.

After i logged in Today im still a freelancer with 7 days Davion contract but i can que up to search for scouting and invasion.
For some reason those sections were all black Yesterday, maybe i just had to log back in.

don't forget you had to give up 25% of the accumulated loyalty points you had with that faction

Damn this suck. I generally go Clan for these Faction Warfare events so automatically joined Nova Cats for this new event but realized that with all the new IS tech, I really, really want to play my IS mechs right now, not play Clan. Also didn't realize this event would take so long, 12,800 match score is nothing at least in Quick Play were I average 400-500 per match. Didn't realize FW would drop that down to around 200 match score per match. Anyway, I really want to play my IS mechs for the event but apparently now I can't.
