pgi why the hell have you locked this years grand halloween prize behind faction play ?? 99% of the players i know hate fac play and 99% fac play matches involving pugs just end up as seal clubbing outings for the opposite team . please consider returning the grand prize to bags instead of hiding it behind a faction play wall

and no i dont want to join or find a team or clan . i like quick play only

It's a shame, but it is what it is. It's not even close to enough to get me to step foot in there, but I hope all the people who are tempted (Or play FP all the time) enjoy it.

I'm betting they want to test Clan Vs. Clan and IS Vs. IS tech performance.

And doing it this way will also prevent all the try-hards mass-switching to clan to take advantage of the tech.

Looks like you can get them in scouting, if you don't want the full faction play experience.

Hell, getting them through scouting's probably faster than getting them through QP even. Maybe we should whine that they locked the grand prize behind 100 QP matches?

Just FYI the Faction Play event is House vs House, Clan vs Clan. During the event there will not be any Clan vs IS....

I hate QP. I enjoy it about as much as slapping scorpions off a cactus with my wedding tackle.

However I absolutely recognize the issues with FP, especially for people who are trying to play a game that literally only has team v team gameplay but have no interest in teamwork. That's always tough and gets worse if you go into an environment that's as teamwork heavy as FW.

That is true for the non-event times. When there is an event its pug enough to be actually enjoyable. And it is the reason why I think they should split ques and bribe people into FP and it will work.

Depends. Players in popular factions such as newly created Clans might have to wait longer. Especially Steel Viper + Diamond Shark coalition, since they are fighting against a single opponent.

To the others , yes i know that pgi is trying to force people to play that broke *** fp but some choose to play in a more casual way . I mean i work in a very regemented enviroment , the last thing i want when i finish work is to play a heavily regemented game, that is the beauty of QP it allows me to get my mech without all the hassle , trying to force people to play one game mode only puts their backs up. if FP was gonna work it would have worked , christ its been how many years now and every iteration fails just as badly as the one before :c if FPO was fun i wouyld play . Unfortunatly its not , grand prizes wont stop that

Edit: I have plenty of cash for spending on mechpacks but it will be a cold day in hell before pgi gets their hands on my wallet strings again

Well i do wonder what boogyman IS pugs will use. Maybe they'll beat the "unit" dead horse instead of the "Clantech" one.
