I just logged into MWO to have a look at a few of your requested varients, as you cannot do faction cammo (usualy the best)

Tiger is among the patterns I often look at and had looked at for the Rifleman. I'm likely to make it more of a zebra pattern if I do use it.

Here's Rogue's suggestions (and a few others).
Firestarter with Cobra, then I tried it with Hotrod, then corrected colors.
First Wolfhound is my stock paintjob + some decals. Just tried the patterns without changing the colors.
Hot Rod Bushwacker and Snowfall.

Crabs. Polygon with the colors of the wife's choosing, then adding another color in there tried cobra, then Buc but couldn't do it any justice so changed colors again and used the rust/brown as "Rust". Tried those colors on Cobra. Had a really hard time trying to get Tarten to look good, settled on the colors shown. And finally, Super Nova in a fractal just because.

I want a Liao scheme for my Cyclops (and most of my mechs).

Well Liao would be my second choice after Steiner but I love their camo. Thing is the Cyclops also has some additional details which many mechs lack. The bad part: the first energy you equip on an arm goes right on top of the chinese letters. Yep, it's **.

Also your Wolfhound reminds me of this dude: Posted Image

Premiums are the ones costing more, right?
I only got a few of the cheaper ones as one-shots during a sale and was in an Army camo color mood when I did them and some others.

Fractal Black Knight with forest camo colors.

Woodland Linebacker with urban camo colors.

Tiger Mad Dog with arctic forest camo colors.

JagerMech Snowfall with camo colors.

JagerMech Snowfall redone trying for green bottom for grass, dark blue for evening sky and greyish for snow simulating nightime storm.

Any paintjob/camo with grey or black as a base and a type of red as a secondary almost always looks epic.

Yo, dude, here's a pro tip (and all of you guys that do this).. When you print screen, close the currently selected mech popup first.. that way, we can see all of the mech, not it's name and XP plastered over it's legs Posted Image

LOFL! I never even thought of it (despite being an avid Undertale fan.)

Wonder if this means I should change the heart to Monster White or shooting Yellow (and upside down)?

In the end... I ended up doing Crab Buc (for the rusted look; chosen due to discovering I had a Crab hero and totally forgot I got it... so uh yeah. Ballistics/Missile Crab.) And Hotrod Firestarter, so I could start setting things on fire again.

This morning: The new Hotrod Firestarter.
Got into several skirmishes within a single match as my classic standard engine 4 MG, 2 SL, 1 MPL Firestarter with the new skill tree filled toward tankiness and firepower, with nothing in mobility.
Despite a really harrowing fight against 3 heavies and a medium (I popped out to engage one heavy and got surprised), I managed to escape despite most of them nearly matching my speed, in the end losing my arm and then my side torso on the right side. The left torso was fried to the point the MGs were destroyed. This left only the small lasers, but I wasn't ready to just sit contently with a single kill. So I dared to pop out of the basement despite the enemy's blatant superiority in the middle of the map. then I went toward the top. I was behind all of their assaults.

First up came the Annihilator. Mecha Godzilla was really badly hurt on one side and the CT.. but those were in the front. I looked a little longer and sure enough, left torso was bare of armor on both sides. Pew. Pew. Dead. Next up came a Banshee. Bare CT, cherry red. I stood behind him and I fired into the armor which was slightly reddish. He started to turn. Lasers rechaged, fired into the CT from the side. Suddenly aware of what was going on he did a hard turn to see me. Fired again, and he's down. Despite killing the Annihilator that was somewhat in front of the Banshee, he took a moment to realize what had happened. His teammates didn't take so long and another turns around. Bam, there goes the arm. I hightail it. As I make my way from them another few hits goes into the ST and that's gone. 18%. 17%.. 16%. 14%...

I'm still being chased, and though my team has mopped up the situation above after dropping the assaults, I went basement to 'get lost' while being chased and so I declared "BASEMENT!" for where one of the last two enemies left is now at.
Posted Image
There, I kicked back and opened a cold one after my mech collapsed. A hard day's work, well fought with old tech, old and new skills and a long forgotten standard engine.
