I want to see some reverse joint legs join this humanoid mech line-up. Show me some Bushwacker!

Technically the Bushwacker can't show up until after the Clan Invasion since that is when they perfected it(from studying a salvaged Mad Dog) and put it into full assembly

My vote is for the Wolfhound, lasers all the way

I am looking forward/hoping for the ol' Thubderbolt. The best "battle" Mech made to date. Good armor, and Weapons, with the ability to fire a well rounded mix of the weapons

Can't tell if trolling... or just...

Clan 'mechs can't be put in yet. They haven't even arrived in the Inner Sphere.

'Mechs that people should not name as the next revealed mech include but are not limited to:

Madcat/Timberwolf.
Vulture/Mad Dog
Thor/Summoner
Loki/Hellbringer
Shadowcat
Cougar
ANY OTHER Clan 'mech.
ANY Omnimech Period.

And, I hate to say it, the Bushwhacker. (doesn't finish development till well after the Clan invasion)

Hope that helps.

I really know nothing about the lore but it seems like a bad move to not include a lot of the more popular mechs. In my opinion the more options the better.

I'm going to say Centurion. Russ Bullock i think mentioned on twitter that the Centurion was his favourite mech.

I'll settle for my trusty vindicator.

May be a salvaged capellan mech, but I like it.

It's like asking for a F14 Tomcat in a WW2 simulation game. (And at this point I invite all those listening to insert their Final Countdown references.)

Dude... how many people watched that movie? LOL

Anyways, the Developers stated very clearly that MechWarrior Online will be game-canon-locked and we will not receive Mechs before they exist, but that won't stop them from releasing Mechs as time progresses... this does assume, however, that MWO persists for a very, very long time. It'll probably require a new engine by the time many of our favorite Mechs are released, but in the meantime we can take solace in the fact that we're playing an awesome game with an awesome premise... and the Awesome Mech.

I'm hoping that they're doing timeskips every now and then so that the roster can grow... and become grossly overcluttered.

Nothing like saying hello to latecomer newbies with 40 different starter mechs.

I pulled out my 3025 TR and thought I would list the mechs off. I can do the 2750 too if you want...
Light: Locust, Wasp, Stinger, Commando, Javelin, Spider, Urbanmech, Valkyrie, Firestarter, Jenner, Ostscout, Panther.
Medium: Assassin, Cicada, Clint, Hermes II, Vulcan, Whitworth, Blackjack, Hatchetman, Phoenix Hawk, Vindicator, Centurion, Enforcer, Hunchback, Trebuchet, Dervish, Griffin, Shadow Hawk, Scorpion, Wolverine.
Heavy: Dragon, Ostroc, Ostsol, Quickdraw, Rifleman, Catapult, Crusader, Jagermech, Thunderbolt, Archer, Grasshopper, Warhammer, Marauder, Orion.
Assault: Awesome, Charger, Goliath, Victor, Zeus, Battlemaster, Stalker, Cyclops, Banshee, Atlas.

I've got a few ideas. I'm thinking either the Awesome, Rifleman, Warhammer, Marauder, Hollander, Axeman, Battlemaster, or a Phoenix Hawk.

I've got C-bills that says the next mech we see is one we've all ready seen. That's right, I bet it's going to be the same mech in the cockpit concept art, generally thought to be... the Centurion.

Except that everyone that really wantrs a Clan Omnimech and is already familiar with them will probably be willing to buy them.

What we're getting on the initial release is probably mostly free. (I assume you get a free first mech, who knows about access to other ones however)

This seems like a reasonable and smart decision by the Devs to me.

From the 3025: The initial design ideas of the Zeus were first put to paper just after the start of the war with the Draconis Combine in 2407. There years later, when enemy forces were threatening Hesperus II, two Zeus prototypes were already lumbering across test terrains. The speed with which the Zeus was brought from idea to reality astounded even the most optimistic generals.

Later in the same passage: The Defiance factories on Hesperus II are the only ones currently producing the Zeus, which first came off the production lines in 2411.

I think it will be Catapult. Personally I would like to see Awesome or Warhammer.
