I want to see some reverse joint legs join this humanoid mech line-up. Show me some Bushwacker!

I'm with you on this. Bushwacker was my favorite on the PC and would seem like a logical choice.

Well, thinking about things logically, here.

The first 'mech released was the Atlas - an iconic assault design. This was immediately followed up by the Jenner (a light) and a Hunchback (a Medium) in quick succession. The next month we saw a Dragon (a Heavy). If we're going by weight classes in this pattern, than we can expect to see a new Assault 'mech coming up.

I would put my money on the Awesome. I find it hard to believe that they'd leave out the quintessential Awesome out of the game, and next to the Atlas, it's probably the 2nd most popular assault 'mech, if only due to Mechwarrior 4 having been the most recent game, most compatible with new OS'es, and not having been replaced with a new mechwarrior title in a decade.

The other likely possibility is the Mauler, but I have my doubts that it will be that design, as the Mauler is a little more faction-specific and much newer at this point in time - therefore far less widespread.

Of course, an appearance of a Hatamoto Chi in this game would be interesting to say the least, but I doubt it will appear. This game seems to be leaning more towards the tacticool aesthetics, so something as totemic as a Hatamoto Chi will likely not make it into the game.

Won't be out till after the clans invade as it was based on salvaged Vulture chassis. I like it too, but I wouldn't expect it to be next.

If you want to go by another logical pattern:

Atlas: Assault, Brawler, Command
Jenner: Fast strike, Hit & Run, Team flanker
Hunchback: Brawler, Urban
Dragon: Kite, Long range

Next mech will be... no idea. Going back to another brawler or zombie? Huh, maybe a zombie. What common zombies are there in 3049? A fire support mech would be different from the kiting Dragon, but still occupy the long range bracket, which a Catapult would do.

Hmmm... I have a new feeling that it will be a light recon mech, to bring back the focus to information warfare.

...Oooor;

Atlas: FedCom / Draconis
Jenner: Draconis
Hunchback: General
Dragon: Draconis

...You know what? Randall has a katana in his room. The next ten mechs will be Kuritan.

Since they last released the Dragon, a heavy, I would like to see a medium, the Crab.

and there would be absolutely nothing wrong with that in my eyes.
besides it would make it more likely that we could get a comstar design!

You know if they wanted to do an unseen and really emphazise how much red-designing they are doing a Crusader would be an interesting choice. Or a T-bolt. Both very common inner sphere designs and they could really show off how they plan to treat unseens.

ok i know i already posted what i thought would be the next released mech, but that was before i understood

what the Unseen mechs were.(thanks Magnus for link) and with the likleyhood of them ever being seen, wich is

almost never because they wernt in any of MW3, my vote is for the Wolfhound. Not that i like this mech or any

thing but, it is all energy, it is the mech the Kellhounds and Wolf's Draggons are testing right before the

invasion, and in its original configeration the use of double heat sinks and the rest of the lost tech will make it

an exceptional fighter, and if we dont get all the lost tech at the start of the game this mech will usher in the

need to put it in the next exspansion.

Was released in the 4th succession war, Daniel Allard got one then and used it to good effect with the Kell Hounds. Dr. Banzai had invented it in NAIS during the 4th succession from everything I have read.

Not trying to be nit-picky, I like the wolfhound a lot too. :)

They said they would redesign the unseen just like they have the rest, so I wouldn't count them out and I hope they are in the mix.

The clans (according to todays date) have already been on their way for around a month or two. Therefore it would still be okay IMO to post a clan mech. Not that I'm biased at all. :)

Conjurer ftw still!

Or Shadow Cat. Or Cougar. Or Cauldron Born.
