Im on NBN through optus, their routing is the suxor. Am in Perth and get around 280-300ms to Oceanic server and atm is getting on average 330-360 ms to NA servers, not even going near EU servers.

Lol, TBH I havent really noticed a difference, RAC's have been working just fine, PPC's are where I have really noticed a difference.

The ping to the Oceanic server is cause they are routing traffic over east then back to Singapore where the server is located, thats easy to figure out. The NA ping is a little harder but im working through it with their tech department.

Considering it has to go over to Syd and then back to perth then to Singapore, its about right.

I should be getting 55-65ms from Perth to Singapore server. Most big ISP's suck when it comes to routing, they dont care about that stuff, only getting your monthly cash and giving you freebies to suck down your bandwidth so you buy a bigger plan.

I hate to say this but so far, iinet is best for gaming when it comes to routing and ping.

IINet NBN NA 230-240 when it behaves 270+ when not (so most of the time)
Oceanic 130-140 when behaving, 270+ when not.
EU 300+ all around.

Yes my Ping are always stable, but again this is cable, for reference doing a Internet speed test I'm doing about 28 MB download. Now not sure what will happen once I have to connect to the NBN
