PPC ghost heat is active when more than 2 PPC's are fired on my Uziel 3s. According the the mech lab weapons warning, which does not show unless more than three PPC's of any variety are equipped, ghost heat should not be active until more than three are equipped. When equipping a heavy and two light PPC's I see a tremendous heat spike when they are fired together. Either the alert is wrong or the ghost heat is being wrongly applied.

The alert is wrong... It's 2 PPCs for ghost heat.

You're both wrong. Here's the rundown...
  • For the "Light PPC", it's 3 before Ghost Heat, but ONLY provided there are NO other types of PPC or Gauss Rifle being fired at the same time.
  • Otherwise, for ALL Combinations of PPC and Gauss Rifle, the limit is 2 before Ghost Heat.
...and I wish PGI had done a better job of cleaning up that Warning message so that people would receive it properly. -_-

Then in that case, I have a bug with the Urbanmech when mounting 4 LPPCs, and ghost heat occurring when 3 are fired at once.

The wording in the alert on the clan lrg lasers is wrong as well. You get ghost heat at 2. Not more then 2.Its another of PGI's wonder typos and mistaken info.......
