So on a whim, after a large amount of lube, and a very big crowbar, the R/AC has met the locust.

here is the guy Ive run the last few days and its surprisingly effective as a fight supporter (dont go scouting or you'll pop). but in a large fight they ignore the little locust until the dakka starts.

full disclaimer Ive only run locusts since i started the game, i tried a trial heavy once... and had an aneurysm waiting on it to move

AC2 + ECM = making assaults panic at 1200 meters.

How do you not explode when shadow cat or something tries to snipe you? Also, snubnose ppcs.

Then... you die.

Actually piloting something like the Jouster is basically turning MWO into a survival horror.
You have low speed, very little ammo, and almost 0 effective health.
You need to be sneaky, careful and focus.
Hell of a rush.

I lol'd. I'm half expecting it to drop on it's side from the sheer weight of that gun.

Those fits are cute. Now lets allow urbie to take a swing. Posted Image

You can get it to fit with a 170 light if you drop the er smalls and either a half ton of ammo or the jj(i'd drop the ammo) if you want a bit more survivability.

However this is my go to fit and its quite effective. Those er smalls go out to 240 optimal and almost 500 max after skills so you don't have to facehug anyone to use them and they add a fair bit of dps on distracted mechs.

Oh and the lights and siren work on demand if you bind the 'use addon modual' to a key.

Muh patrol car.

Oh, now that's just silly. Everybody knows a Raven can't carry a Heavy Gauss Rifle!

...you need a Firestarter for that.

Because the Raven's ballistics are in the arms and the heavy Gauss takes too many slots.

You can do it with a standard Gauss, though.

That was the joke, yes.

BoomBird is much more fun anyway. Who wants goose waffles when you can have a gun that speaks with authority?
