I've seen the ViP get a kill in game twice. theB44f also had a video up where his ViP killed an enemy as well. Have to go find it, but it was hilarious.

So after some time with the new games modes last night it just hit me why I like them so much.
I get it everyone and their mother love skirmish and skirmish only.

I love objective modes because they give value to real estate. Why fight over dirt when you can fight over assets?

Escort: Forget about the poor A.I. pathing. It's a moving turret that randomizes the combat area even if it gets stuck on the way.
Fight in other parts of the maps for a change.

Incursion: Three areas of combat to fight over assets. Deny the enemy fuel cells and power your base. What's not to like.

Domination: This mode is hands down the worst ever. Can't find any redeeming qualities in this. Except maybe that it speeds up skirmish.

Siege: Also nice. Though defense starts at the gate, which lots of people fail to realize.

Assault: Okay. Base cap always an option.

Conquest: Best mode for lights and mediums. Plus whole map has value.

Remember kids, just because there are other reason to go outside and get shot to pieces you can always
fall back to PLAN B: Kill them all. But objectives kinda force you out of turtle mode and thus are way more interesting
imo than skirmish.

PS: Necroed this because I had this idea of a combined game mode where all aspects are incocorporated into.

Have the VIP move along a route. Along the route are bases and fuel cells and turrets and all the stuff currently in game.
Bases need to be powered. Both teams get a VIP like the payload mode in TF2. The team that gets its VIP to the other side
wins or kill all enemies ofc.
