hey guys,

has anyone found a viable use for the heavy lasers on the timberwolf?

ive tried running it with 2 Heavy Large & 4 Med Pulse...
even though it has a higher alpha and supposedly better heat mgmt on paper,
i find that i overheat less and have greater success with the standard 2 LPL and 4ERML combination....

For Heavy Lasers to be effective, you have to keep the extreme duration beam on target... If you're not used to it, you're going to do way better with Pulse.

Also, even with all the beam duration skills and the best duration reduction quirks, the Heavy Large still burns for the same amount of time as an unskilled/quirked ER Large Laser.

TBR-Prime with: Quad Heavy medlasers, TAG, 2ATM12 and don't think this is a longrange support build.
Use the TAG for instalocks and anti ECM get under 300m fire TAG and lasers then ATMs and get into cover again.
