After the patch i seem to be unable to play at ultra wide resolutions. the game is forcing me to play at a unreasonable scale of my main monitor. It has always worked before with no issues and i have not changed any of my equipment.

That patch was several weeks ago, during that time there has also been both Windows and Nvidia updates.

Run the Repair Tool or delete attributes.xml in your saved games, MWO, Profile, Pilot names folder.

Microsoft also forces People into using Win10 by crippling older Windows Systems...also automatic Driver Updates by Windows often go wrong and you need to do them yourself manually.
