Build teams with available players... that's it.

Instead of trying to make teams with 12 players each just take the available players in the given Tier, split them in half and make the game.

True, you would end up in 5vs5, 2vs2, 9vs9, 11vs11, whatever, but do you really care?

I think it would make for some interesting game play.

You tier one people may even end up in some 1vs1 and 2vs2 games.
Would that be so bad?

That would work well, Polar domination another player with annihilator other with anythin not annihilator/dire, game without enemy spotted.

I sort of like the idea in a way, but:

1) It would have to be a minimum of 4v4 in order to not be really stupid.

2) Even then it's not really all that fair when somebody brings a bunch of ammo and/or a bunch of heatsinks, and then they end up not really needing either because they unpredictably got a match with much fewer players than usual.
