Mech Lab Suggestion

This I think should meet with universal approval.

In the mech lab have a tab that brings up the loaded weapons, an enemy paper doll (maybe a heat bar) and a distance slider.

you can then see the spread (what damage is done to each component) damage at different ranges if you fired dead centre on an stationary enemy.

If need be a mech can be picked to show the damage i.e. like the atlas if we are really worried about hit boxes.

So in practice you select the weapons to be fired and set the distance and hit the fire button. You would be then shown how much damage is done to each component and the percentage heat generated.

Whilst this may not help the long standing players it will be of use to new players to determine how effective each weapon is at a particular range.

While this would be handy to have in the mechlab, it most certainly would also be very time consuming to build.

And do consider that we already have this feature by using the testing grounds. I know it takes a long time to load, but it is there.

we don't because we don't get the actual numbers we just have to guess.

point taken on the time to implement but that is not a reason to avoid a good feature
