3 Questions I Need Answers To
#1
Posted 09 August 2017 - 04:56 PM
Does the IS targeting computer work with LBX cannons, Rotary weapons in terms of its added benefits?
Second question
When are we getting a new map to play in the general queue, I'm getting bored playing the same maps over and over again?
Third question
When is battletech actually being released to the general public. I need it in my life?
Help on these questions would be massively appreciated.

It says right in the tool tip that it doesn't effect LBX. I assume it does effect Rotary ACs, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't and PGI just didn't update the tool tip.

I think there's supposed to be one coming up soon.

Right now? Just throw money at the kick starter or backer kick or whatever and you get access to the beta (which I think went live like a month ago). Pretty sure that's how it is someone feel free to correct me.

Sure you can, just go to their homepage and get the package that includes beta access.
Also, if you like turn based tactical combat, you're not going to be disappointed

The larger it is the bonuses are increased. 1 ton TC is hardly noticeable but makes a great crit pad when you have that extra tonnage and cant do anything with it unless you sport the active probe for kicks.

I don't know how Soon you actually mean. I just watched the last dev stream the other day, and they sounded like it is not in the home stretch yet. they still are getting all the pieces working, and put together. Mech animations are almost done, and the animator is moving on to other tasks.. If it launches in 2017 I'll be pleasantly surprised.. My guess is more Q1 2018..
I personally won't be grabbing it till next summer anyway. Hopefully by then it will have a bit of extra polish. Till then i'll be messing around with Shadow Run, and it's editor

Ah... don't get too excited. It wont be THAT soon. They're on their second rebuild (First was a Unity upgrade, and then they had to scrap all the multiplayer code). They've got a bit to go.

The MWO forums probably isn't the best place to ask this, since BATTLETECH isn't being developed by PGI. If you want to find out more about BATTLETECH, you should go to BATTLETECH's forums here: https://community.ba...ame.com/forums/
