Prophecy (1970)

Horror

When a paper mill has trouble with the resident Indians in Maine, an expert is called in to get to the bottom of the trouble. The EPA investigator arrives with his wife and by then the killings have started. He arrives to watch a search dog arrive, the last survivor of the original attack. After checking out an oversized tad pole he discovers mercury at the plant. He discovers a mercury induced birth defect bear cub. Only to learn that a monstrous mother is nothing to mess with.

Real fake blood, good plot, good acting. Mild horror that will shake up a young viewer (it might even scare the hell out of them). Teaches an important lesson: Don't eat the fish.Posted Image
