I am in Africa, Namibia, and have an African ISP with all that that entails. I have not had a download speed of 60 KB/s since 2007 though. Could you look into it from your side please? Thank you in advance.

Hello, Hammerhai... Have you tried using the Manual Patch File Download, posted at the bottom of the Patch Notes Article? My own ISP (Frontier Communications) has gone bent on causing issues with anything that isn't an officially recognized Web Browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Opera, FireFox, Google Chrome, Edge, etc. ... You get the idea.), such that my download rates with anything that doesn't communicate in HTTP gets messed up and/or slowed down. Your ISP might just be doing the same bloody crap, so it would be worth trying to use your Web Browser instead to get the file, and then put it in a proper place using the instructions listed at the bottom of the Patch Notes. By the way, if you have multiple people using the same computer to play MWO, I would personally recommend that you create a directory next to that of MWO's for having the Patcher/Portal pick up the files from for use. If your ISP is trying to pull stupid shenanigans with your Internet, using the Manual Patch File Download option should get you around the problem.

If all else fails, and you can't get a quick download any which way you try, you'll probably end up using the MWO Repair Tool regardless of any method you try. But, let's hope you don't have to resort to that, and the Manual Patch File Download can get you out of this situation, okay?
