I love it so very much when you get shot by so many missiles at once your game crashes. Then, when you try to get back into that FW match, CryEngine fails... twice.

All the more reason to upgrade from this outdated engine.

And yes, I preemptively made this in the Off-Topic instead of the General as this is against CryEngine, not the game as a whole.

Edit; Apparently Incursion mode is now ****ed up. Now I'm getting this whenever I try to join an Incursion match in both FW and QP. Yay I'm bringing down whatever team I'm on because I can't even play an entire mode.

Or maybe it is just your MWO installation.
A corrupted file is mostly caused by a faulty update.
So, while I do not say that the engine is fine, it was the wrong choice from the start, your problem has nothing to do with this issues but rather with a randomly arisen faulty file in your MWO installation.

Either use repair tool or do a CLEAN reinstall.

I think that you got hit with so many LRM's that your computer took a few. Real bummer man. Posted Image

I would agree, if it wasn't for me playing incursion earlier yesterday one after another with no problem. Then the game crashed (an actual crash where it blackscreens, not the kind I posted above), then every attempt to join (and rejoin) an incursion match all ended with that same "CryEngine has failed" message.

Now, I did run the repair tool and everything seems to be fine. However I haven't gotten another incursion match to test if the issue is still persisting today.

I used to have all kinds of crazy Cryengine fails

when I first started had 100% fail rate on Crimson Strait
in CW I would disco when I played the Clan
I would disco when I got near a gen in my light Mech

just all kinds of crazy stuff
once I went to windows 10 64bit 99% of the problems went away

another person suggested not having all the windows updates could be the problem
and my old windows 7 32 bit had a ton of failed updates

(I also tried two different graphics cards if anyone is wondering)

Just as a reminder that by default Windows 10 also updates your drivers. Forgot that after a full Windows 10 install and had several issues til I rediscovered that. Disabled that feature, uninstalled GPU/Sound drivers (repeated updates-check your update history regularly....) and installed them manually. Issue resolved.

You did not say if you ran the integrity check and did it replace any files.
