If you want to use all 60, the Quickdraw is probably the most agile, and can jump (important in chasing/tracking lights through terrain).
A 55-ton Griffin is great pest control, but will mostly be a brawling mech, so it will have a pretty niche role within your deck.

Good to see PGI still looking out for and banning for cheating.

Quickdraw 4H with an XL 330, 3 SRM6, 4 Medium lasers, jumpjets.
Will scare the bejeezus out of lights and still very effective against heavies.

KTO-18, 5x streak 4, tag, BAP, big engine (XL350 if you gutta go fast and are brave/stupid, LFE300 otherwise). Chainfire streaks for DAYS. Massively effective in scouting if you have 3 or 4 of these.

Bushwacker P1 with 6xSSRM-4 is my personal favourite - also because it doubles as a great Scouting mech - although you can kit it out with 6xSRM-4 (or ASRM-4) just as well.

I like to falcon punch lights and mediums with shadow hawk 2d2. It’s not often used and they don’t stand a chance. Also bushwhacker streak build is legit

Quickdraw is the best 60 tonner for that role, but I would go with an assassin or phoenix hawk for 4th wave & upgrade the commando to something else.
