It would be a cool idea if you could change camo AFTER you know what map you play. So in the lobby you can load previously saved custom camo specs to fit the map.
I'd love that!

Good idea but definitely not worth working on for at least another year.

I wonder what bugs it might introduce. Anytime I change a camo spec it takes 5-10 seconds to save, I wonder how that would affect a match when dropping into it.

This could work and it might be fairly easy to implement, even if the player only gets to choose the three colours (not changing patterns or decals).

The colour values are the easiest thing to change on the fly, whereas patterns and decals would require re-loading textures into the shaders.

So even if we just choose colours after mapvote, that would be awesome!
