damnit, i missed the first half of the conversation but HANGAR FK YEAH! been wanting this since the ui was windowed. Made many thread about it, so many hopeful post. cant wait.

yes it would mean custom positions for 2 lifts across every mechs Chassis, but it would be awesome!

Everyone will be excited when its introduced and then forget about this feature withing a month. Same thing happened in eve online - year of development and no one used it. And after five years they scrapped it completely. Russ should really check that story.

and no first person is why i could never get into eve.. The concept was wonderful, but it was missing the whole out of ship exploration, and walking around a space station/areas.. No clue why that would be such a huge thing to add to that game.

but that is off topic.. I honestly think they can Frankenstein some Mech5 code to get it working. If it did take some person a month, and this game lasts manymore years, i think it would be more than worth it. Especially when he was talking about visiting other peoples mech bays..
That could be a huge social aspect.
Have a UNIT, have a copy of your UNIT garage. LEt all players in your unit enter, and see everyones Selected mechs for storage, Hold unit meetings, maybe people wanna do a little RPG, or hell PNP game in a chat room while in the mech bays.
It could have a large bonus to community building outside the simple wow.. look at my mechs with very little addition.. Floating chat can work in there, unit functions, looking for group, making groups.. Think BIG!
