During my 9 straight PUG stomp losses today, I tried many different techniques for achieving the difficult but necessary TAG kill.

The approach that worked for me was to put a TAG on the arm of a Streak Boat (in my case, a Linebacker) and set the Streaks to fire on the same weapon group.

You focus your target holding down the TAG button, and as soon as the TAG achieves the lock, the Streaks will fire.

(Be a good team mate and don't try to time your shots to get the killshot. If you boat enough Streaks, and keep firing, you will soon enough shoot the missile that gets the kill.)

I ended up with a Dual ATM 6 Stormcrow, TAG and 6 x ER SL. That gave me a mech I could at least contribute fairly well to the match with. Took me about 5 matches to get it knocked out once I went that direction. Weaken then enemy with the ER SLs and when the CT went red, focus fair with TAG and ATMs.
