I know it has always been IS, But can you let the cat out of the bag on this one? I don't care if you tell us what the mech is, or what any of the mechs are.. But can you at least tell us the faction? I got two accounts and only enough cash to grab MC for one, and i rather spend it on the one that i can use the mech!

I hope it is not IS again. That is no Loyalty reward for someone like me that only plays Clan. I have 3 IS Mechs just sitting in Mechbays for no good reason other than I cannot sell them.

I have to admit, I too want PGI to hurry up an announce the Loyalty Rewards for this year but for a different reason. For myself I am thinking about possible buying one or more of the Clan Heroes II mechs so I can get a 30% C-bill bonus variant. However since I don't know what mechs we are getting in the loyalty rewards, I don't know if perhaps I will already be getting a similar one for free. Also since I know PGI is going to probably require people by Collectors Packs again to get the top tier Rewards, I would rather drop the cash into picking up a Collectors pack if I was already getting a 30% C-bill bonus variant of the chassis as part of the reward.

Yeah I kind of feel you there. In some cases I have really like the Loyalty Mechs I have gotten and play those variants quite often. Mechs like the Hellbringer, King Crab, Atlas and Cataphract get used quite often. Mechs like the Blackjack and Wolverine pretty much just sit and do nothing. Hell I haven't taken the Wolverrine out for even one match because I can't justify the C-bill cost required to even attempt to put a usable build on it.

You know now that I think back on it. I have only gotten one Clan Loyalty Mech ever so yeah, hope they go Clan this time around.

I think that whatever the mech is, it should be able to be used by either side. It could be a captured design or from a captured shipment or something.

I think more people should expand their horizons and enjoy playing both sides so that things like which faction a mech was didn't matter.

Better yet I wish they would go ahead and advance the FW timeline so we could run a combination of both Clan and IS faction depending on if they were Team Katherine or Team Victor. Lets be honest here, by the time of the Fedcom Civil war many of the Clans were either fighting for the IS side outright or were supporting one faction or the other. Wolf-in-Exile was in Victor's pocket, Nova Cats were in the DCs pocket, Vald was outright sleeping with Katherine giving her all the stiff support she needed (both militarily and otherwise). You could even say many of other Clans, though perusing their own agenda, also supported one side or the other in some way, form of fashion.

So because of that, it is time to mix up the factions and allow both IS and Clan players to play cooperatively to further either Katherine or Victor in the Civil War.

I'm hoping the MC mech isn't another IS Medium. IS Light? Excellent. Clan Light? Perfect. Clan Medium? Fine. Just not an IS Medium.

Imo since we no longer have the rule of 3, there should be a brand new chassis as an early access surprise (top tier reward). Would get people to spend more to obtain it.

Well i've said in the past that they should have two, One clan, one IS, and then you get to pick one. If you spend Over X amount you could pick a second.. (i guess you could pick a second IS or second clan if you wanted though)

But for me, it was more about getting some MC now, to get the reward on the account i could use it.. I guess though with Russ's tweat, maybe i'll just spend 10 bucks and my the tournament pack and get a bunch of extra warhorns, and C-bill/XP bonus instead.

Speaking of which, how is the new tournament warhorn? I really liked last years, though i never used it till recently, sorta forgot i had it lol
