ik i just rolled two identical caches and both rewarded me with the same dekkle, a clan wolf dekkle. the very same one i won a few events ago. #rigged

another key disposal unit disappointment. at least they were free keys.

they should just scrap them and give you mcs

yea with that new system im kinda curios if i should just sit on my keys and wait for a full refund (mind you that would only be about 500mc or so with the ~20 keys remaining), or just spin them as they come in hopes of winning more stuff. some rolls ago i won the 500mc package and it was pretty sweet, used it for bays durring the sale. and it doesnt bother me one way or the other, they were free keys after all.

seriously the current system wouldn't be so bad if:

they were easier to get. its taken me months to use those keys we all won a few events ago and im still not out of them.

if they were dynamically generated. to include things like newtech and exclude things you already own (especially things you can only own once, like dekkles).

and if they were more fair. display proper odds, not vague odds groups which could really mean anything.

typical pgi to abandon a system instead of working to improve/fix it.

I'm with you on that. Plan on sitting on the keys I have and all the caches I earn until more details come out about the new Supply Cache system, and what they will do with those existing keys and caches.

The new supply cache system sounds an awful lot like Overwatch's loot boxes, which are pretty good as far as loot boxes go.

They'll probably refund you the MC or convert keys to more supply caches to open, since they will certainly start selling caches in the store.

Same. Had 2 identical caches 2 seperate times, and they both gave the same as the other did. Now I have 2 Shadow Cat arms and 2 more Keys than I did previously.

I opened like 20 - 30 and won something like a large laser each time. Never anything of value. I wanted either like 50 mc or at least a cool hanging cockpit item or a warhorn but I never got anything so now i dont even use my free keys anymore haha.

I just stalk pile the crates and open them only when I get free keys. Other than that I wait to sell them off en mass for a new c-bill mech. 50,000 c-bills discount x number of crates means free mech.

Here is the trick to know what you will get, it works 90 to 99% of the time!

1. Pick the worst blue item
2. Open the cache!
3. Get the worst blue item

Almost flawless.
