They are all from even before I even started playing.
Are there any words from developers why there never were any new ones?

Mech bundles (if you're talking about the MC Bundles) require a normal variant, a champion and a hero. If you don't have all 3 requirements met = no bundle.

For a new bundle to appear, the hero must be out around half a year (roughly). So for something like Wave I bundles, expect to wait a few more months.

Yes, I’m speaking of the MC ones with champ and hero, not the entirely differently organized “Mech packs”.

Do any of you remember when the last bundle was introduced?
After all, we are getting new champs and heroes every couple of months for some time now.

I can't find the news post, but I think the Thunderbolt and Wolverine were the last Mastery Packs released, some time after the introduction of Mastery Packs to the Gift Store in Dec 2015.

I always figured the secondary reason for releasing all the new Champion and Hero 'mechs (after making more money) was to be able to sell more Mastery Packs (and make even more money).

PGI is all about those Steam Performance Packs, now. I don't think they are interested in Mastery Bundles anymore.

Russ confirmed that Steam users are in the minority, so I think new mastery packs will be made.

Actually Steam users take at least 50~70% of total player population at current point.

Send the factual statistics to Russ then, if you have it. Even then 30-50% of the population is still too big to ignore.

they changed the way they sell mechs.. Mastery bundles have been converted into the mech packs on the store page i linked. But how knows, maybe they will add more with the new hero bundles that have been released this summer.

Yeah clans were released next weren't they? We had a few packs with no hero at all til what, the marauder? They might only have those mastery packs for pre clans, or now that a lot of packs don't have available hero's we might see more mastery packs.
