I do like the concept. Hundred meter tall stalagmites, underground waterways. Glacier tongues pouring in from cracks in the roof, a bit of sunlight seeping in and weird dark-adapted vegetation.
The speleothems and ice formations can be destructible terrain.
It's going to be tough to establish a sense of scale, so it doesn't feel like guys walking in a small cave in power armour. Maybe put it a military base and a mech workshop near the mouth of the cave.

So you want to turn mwo's already corridor shooter maps into a literal corridor?... IS mechs will be SALIVATING for this.

Large cavernous mountain with 6+ entrances with 2 to 3 tiers. You can have mechs fighting directly above you on a tier and only way to reach them is to go up. The entrances can be entered by either team because you can go around the outside. Doesn't have to be a perfect circle and can be a winding valley to get to each entrance.
