Haven't played a lot with OmniPods. From what I recall the CT part have the quirks.
Seeing the MLX-A have 25% MGs RoF and it's not a quick set of 8 does it mean I can get the A variant and switch every parts for the G variant so the 8 MGs will get the 25% RoF? Armor buffs also better on the A. But I'd lose accel/decel.

Wouldn't work.
15% of the RoF comes from the Right arm. The other 10% comes from a set of 8 bonus on the A.
So you could do the A Right arm and a G left arm and get 6 MG, 4 lasers and a 15% bonus (with some added armor on the right arm.)
But you won't be able to get any rate of fire bonus' while also having all 8 ballistic hardpoints.

Ok now I see it, I always forget the option to bring from store to MechLab to see such stats, usually I only put cursor over Mech in store and read stats from there.
Now to decide if 6 MGs with 15% RoF is better than 8 MGs... I would say it's close to equivalent

6 x .25= 1.5 extra machine guns 8x.1 =.8 extra machine guns
so 6+ 1.5= 7.5 mguns and 8+.8= 8.8 mguns
dps would be higher on the 8 build from a purely mgun standpoint, hope that helps

Is you math good? It's either 8 MGs without enhanced RoF or 6 with 15% RoF so 6 + 6 x 0.15 = 6.9 vs 8

The advantage of the MLX-A arm isn't in firepower, it's in durability. In losing 2 ballistic hardpoints by choosing the MLX-A arm you get a 15% MG ROF quirk, but you also get 24 additional armour on that arm. You're trading 1.1 machineguns for 24 armour.
So instead of 16 armour you have 40 which will allow you to take an alpha on that arm without losing it, or you can use it as a shield arm if you find yourself in a difficult spot.
