This is kind of a touchy subject for me, but I feel like I need to talk about it.
I've been struggling with this ever since I first realized what and who I was in my teen years. There's this thing that's a part of me and despite all the social progress that has been made over the years, it's still not quite accepted. When I first met people in my late teens who were like me, I felt a little less alone in the world. I still feel this shame and self loathing that never quite goes away however. It's a generational thing I suppose. Kids these days don't seem to mind so much, but many people my age and older can be very intolerant.
The dirty looks I get in restaurants when the issue comes up... Or the way people whisper behind my back at grocery stores. It just gets to me sometimes. Many say it's ok as long as they don't have to see it in public or hear about it. That's their right I guess, but it still hurts me inside.
People seem much more friendly towards people like me online, so I thought I'd make this topic to talk about it a bit. Maybe find some like minded people etc.
I guess you all know what I'm trying to say by now, so here goes; I like pineapple on pizza! There. I said it. Please don't think any less of me because of it.

I know your pain man......its just.....well....my parents failed to do me this favor....and I still sometimes feel the urge when yomeone says "hey lets get some pizza" and sometimes...just sometimes I have this sick sick craving for Pizza with Pineaple and bacon.
I know, I know, a perfect innocent pizza with tomato souce and morzerella and other cheese and bacon....and then....its just gross.

My sister loves pineapple on her pizza.
I can take it or leave it, but prefer an all-meat pizza.
