Please add feature to save custom loadouts for easy switching between loadouts. It is very tedious to have to manually switch out weapons and equipment. Thank you.

i agree it would be awesome, but then... why would anyone ever buy more mechs? Or more of the same mechs?

I think this would be an awesome idea.
I know that this might not be the most popular thing for the thread. but I might add that in order to give PGI incentive to do it, I think doing this with an MC cost for extra configs might be something people would pay for.
3 free with extra configs available for 75 MC each seems like something most people would pay for.

This should be a great time saver in the mechlab.
And, as a bonus, you could easily share your special mech 'config' file with others who are struggling to get balance in their build.
PGI would benefit because players who acquire mech 'config' files may have to 'buy' different engines, weapons, or accessories, to implement the build.
Everybody wins.
Peace - Out.

Because people are different. I got some mechs that I wouldn't change, I like them the way they are, but I also got some of the same chassis that I bought to tinker around with.
Another reason to buy more than just one chassis is the skill tree: Let's say you have a SMN skilled for missiles and another one skilled for energy. With save slots for the chassis you could change the missile SMN from splat to ATM in the blink of an eye. Less time in the MechLab, more time to play.

Honestly think this is a total waste idea.
