But, am I the only person who hears this coolant flush stuff and goes "Ok?"


I'm certainly not even close to one of the best players here, and I honestly don't think that other people who can cool down and alpha more are going to obliterate me. I'm a decent pilot and have good situational awareness, so if I'm in a position to be alpha'd over and over again, I screwed up.

Nah, I'm basically there with you. I'll adjust as requried. With it actually using resources up when used, I don't expect to see a lot of it used until community warefare finally hits and matches mean something.

Although I guess if we have any more of the PGI 'tournaments' then every advantage possible will start beiung used en masse by those participating.

Yeah, I am slightly concerned about what it means down the road, but as it stands it's another thing to cater to the skill-less

For me its a questions of money and support. Right now, putting money into this BETA, means that I support what they are doing and I'd like to see the finished product. However if this is a sign of things to come, it makes me question if I'm willing to "invest" in the game.

Nah, there's plenty. There just isn't a huge need to post about it, and almost everyone sensible enough to look at this from all angles and realize it's going to be fine is probably avoiding the whole general forum anyway.

People have tried to make constructive or approving threads and they just get derailed by nonsense QQ.

I'm OK with it. I'll probably pack one of the CB ones on some of the builds where I ride the line a lot, maybe both on the really high-heat alpha builds (PPC boat). I'll probably use them and forget for the next 20 matches to reload them, like I often forget to make loadout changes or fix controls, because I'm old and senile.

What I'm really, really excited to see are the QQ threads from people blowing their consumables and dying immediately after. It will be glorious!

I'm not using consumables at all unless they're super cheap.

You have to rebuy them after each match.

How PGI can counterbalance this. Announce consumables coolent flushes that cost Cbills or MC. Buff flamers and introduce inferno rounds.

I want the consumables to have an obvious visual effect so I can know who to laugh at for spending dollars/space dollars to die at 65% heat.
