We always use in-game VOIP for PUGs and try to integrate them, but still many do not listen, play hero or re-inforce and are perma-dead by wave 2. Then curse you and leave...
Guide in first 2 posts is excellent.

Should maybe add:
Listen carefully to commands and do what the drop caller tells you. 99% of the time they did think about the tactics and play the game much longer than you.

i like how the op suggests good tactics without shoving the teamspeak lifestyle down everyone's throat.

while i dont like the teamspeak lifestyle, i think anyone with the nards to call the drop deserves to be listened to. i cant stand when some armchair commander decides that the drop caller is an idiot and spews salt instead of taking command themselves. or the people who only use voip to yell at people for not using voip at the end of the game. drop callers are a rare resource and its wise to use that resource to attain victory.
