[Knick Knack]

I want to share my achievement with you all, I realize it's stupid and dumb but I felt so successful when I got this. I've been wondering if my brawling LRM strat was really worth it, and it finally paid off. I wish I had recorded the match, It was me and a crippled de-gunned Catapult at the very end, those 4 solo kills I all got at the last moment, fighting the last 4 remaining members of their team.
I tried so many different fighting styles and weapons before settling on LRM brawling, even though ATM seems like a better option, but LRMs just work for me. Maybe the same can be said about other people. Just gotta experiment.

You could try what I do, medium mech LRM brawling but it's a weird fighting style.

...and I just got The achievement: Seriously?! Get top damage in a match but do not get any kills. I didn't even know this existed, and the title it gives you is so sweet. Now I am torn between Ace of Spades and "Bridesmaid"

This game is so wacky with Achievements.

You should take the name of Robin Hood! First you steal the kills and get rewarded for that and then a few games later you generously hand them back to others, giving you two well deserved rewards on the same day! Sounds fair to me. Congrats on both rewards!

Congrats. And, thanks for proving that you don't need 1500+ damage to achieve it. You did what good pilots are supposed to do. Core and kill (4 KMDD) or successful XL checks, and following up on securing a kill. To many others strip every last component instead of securing the kill.

I seem to never be able to get it as all the games I would have get it (ending on 7 kills), there were always 1-2 of my kmdds that were "secured" by a light or medium on my team, who end the match with one of the lowest damages on the team.

This game is so wacky with Achievements.

That... is quite a low damage to be getting that achievement. Usually you have to be pulling 900 damage+ games to pull that off. I got mine in a Direwolf doing just that, 900 damage, 4-5 KMDDs (it was a looooong time ago and I didn't screenshot at the time, so I forgot the exact amount), and no kills.

Knick knack gets AoS in a LRM boat. I got mine in an AC/2 Direwolf (Clan AC/2, not Ultras).

That's what I tried to do, I ended up going with a "many tiny lrm banks that fire one after another" while keeping enemy in sight to hit core (save for having to leg a light mech with lasers).

Well, I think the only reason I was able to get it at the end was the fact I ended up having to fight so many people alone, and that most of my team had died early into a push. When you're in a stomp situation I'm sure getting the thing is hard, but when you are BEING stomped, if you can somehow pull off a win from behind you'll sure to get it.

Yeah I didn't expect it, this was also a quick match with oddly small tones. I only noticed a few assaults and it was mostly lights and mediums.
