That said, with MedLas being down to 3.4 heat you don't need the heat quirk and, with the Skill Tree reducing the duration down to 0.765 seconds, you don't need the duration quirk. It's still agile, it's still fast. The LCT-1E is still one of the best Lights in the game.

NOPE the duration quirk does help that much
it is miles apart now even with all the skill tree applied to duration. LPL with that mech was very deadly

You clearly never played the 1E before the massive quirk nerfs. That -50% duration quirk along with the heat and cool down made it super deadly, and remember reduction in duration also means reduction in cooldown.

same thing happened to the spider 5k, which is now equally useless.
Just a thing that happens in this game... sometimes stuff gets nerfed, its just dumb when its something that isnt that strong.

Edit: and the LCT-1E never had a cool-down quirk. That's 25% on the LCT-3M, and it still has 20%.

the lct 1v and the 1v(p) had the -50 cooldown quirk not the lct 1e
