Honestly, I believe they should be using the assets for our current maps to begin building up groups of biome/planet type specific "tilesets" to speed up the overall process. This allows them to start "quickly" adding thematic maps that can be used to more effect in FW (and add more variety to QP). Several maps with the same biome which pertain to a specific planet type would help up the immersion factor considerably. All unique layouts of course.

As to the mention of Tormaline, it was used as a reference of size not theme. So, about that big.




Yes i agree, they need to just add more of the same biomes. that would speed up map production a bit for sure. If they started adding maps every 4 months, i think people would be very happy with that. add a summer map, an october map, and early Year map, aka jan/feb.
