Sounds like you paid for something, using Stripe as the payment processor, at some point.. clicked the 'remember my info' button.. and it's remembered your info.. but is asking for a verification code. Possibly the 3 digit code on the back of your card?

Thanks for the replies, it's not asking for the cvv number on the back of the card the format is 111-111. I have never seen this before.
The windows are not the same as the were before on previous purchases. It's been a few months since I have made a purchase so was curious and paranoid i suppose.

As part of the data center migration, they've also changed payment processing companies (they were using playspan before, sounds like they're using Stripe now for Credit Cards).

I see, I don't ever remember using that payment method before, but after going to the site I believe I had to use this before at a job as they paid out on a debit card.
It says it can't find my email when I try to recover the password, so I'll contact them to find out s what's going on.
I just don't like the part about sending a text with some information to a number that's not mine.
Thanks again for the help much appreciated.

xsolla has started to ENFORCE 3D-Secure & Verified by Visa with some bad excuses.
basically: unless you are willing to have either online banking or a smartphone with online banking, you cannot use your regular CC card anymore.
wirecard.com has virtual cards without it, havent tested them yet.
i just stopped paying stuff, basically i think its a question of wether PGI really want money (then they have a method not excluding people from paying) or not. the payment solution provider does just that...
TL;DR: CC payment is [Redacted] up unless you have online banking (in which case owning a CC doesnt make sense anymore)
EDIT: added a workaround for the bleeping bleeep bleep bleepage filter.

its the old 'do i start a new topic or is there one already' debate. forum etiquette seems to differ a lot on this regard from forum to forum, usually by some ocd admin that somehow thinks organizing a forum will make the salt disapear. i like to go with the 'if its not on the first page, start a new thread' philosophy.
