Probably a Roughneck. It's part loadermech so you can build that wall of yours.

I'd build a Fire Support though.

got into a game with awesome team and no one was shooting at me hehehehe
I think it is because of the ECM, truly a good mech for beginners

Nice score. If you're a lurm boat, then it's just okay.

it was with the 2x HLL and 4x ER-ML

I was shooting at them but mostly they don't fire back or are busy with other mechs just my luck because normally I score 200-300 for a good match

I agree, the HBR is hugely newbie friendly, especially since it doesn't seem to need anything from the skill tree to do well (in low tiers ofc):

This was on the trial version of the HBR. Started an alt account last weekend with a view to testing out some mechs that I'd hesitate to buy on my main account, but have been curious to try (these include the Mad Dog, Assassin and Viper). Was expecting going back to unskilled trial mechs before spending the cadet bonus to be a painful experience, but certainly wasn't the case with the HBR (at one point had a KDR of 11 in that thing ..though that soon eroded after I bought my 1st 'owned' mech on that account!).

PS Probably a little bit of hyperbole in my opening sentence. The downside of the trial HBR is that it runs pretty hot, so could do with some heat management nodes, and also can't get the full benefit of its ECM without the relevant skill nodes. The point I was trying to make is that it isn't awful, or even close, without these (as I was expecting).
