I saw PGI developing some thing like TT but on PC and I got an idea...
Why instead of turn-play TT-alike game just not create a MechWarrior/Commander as MOBA+Tactical Simulator. With all we got like MechLab, Fraction-Ranking play and etc.
Just wondering...

I agree. But I don't like that it's 4 mechs only. If you're going to have turn based. It should have more than that in my opinion. I know they said there would be vehicles. But 4 mechs still sounds too limited.

This, but only if it's done properly.
If you give commands and every turn advances the progress a little bit.
But if you have a turn system where some units advance a huge distance in a single turn like they were teleporting and the enemy can't do anything about it (as EVERY turn based game does it), it's kind of stupid.

Personally, I find both RTS and Turn Based games awesome.. the only difference between them is the amount of micromanagement.
Turn based has loads more.
Any you can't do micromanagement-rich settings well without loosing a significant part of it..
That's why XCOM games are so awesome and D&D has 5 editions and troves of people still playing TT, with PC game iterations only serving as a temporary fix between game nights..
