Will the Civil War mechs (Annihilator, Mad Cat, Uziel, and Cougar) be allowed in the Semi Finals and world championship? The rules say that the mechs included in the August 16th Patch will be allowed in the tournament, but seeing as how these are $$$ only mechs I just want to make sure these are included in that clause. Any official response is appreciated.

The Tournament Build uses the exact same rules as Comp Play does in the current live build. If it's available in Comp Play on live, it will be available on the Tournament Build.

Your statement contradicts the rules set out on the Tournament page though, because currently we cannot use heroes in comp queue while it states that Semis and Finals they will be allowed. This would mean that the rules on the tournament build is different than live:

'MECHS AND LOADOUTS

• All released Standard, Hero, and Champion 'Mechs will be available for purchase through the Tournament Build using the large amount of currency provided to all participating accounts.
  
• As a result of their full availability to all participating accounts, all released Standard, Hero, and Champion 'Mechs are eligible for use during the Semi-Finals and World Finals.
  
• Participants will be provided with a large amount of in-game currency and experience with which to acquire and customize 'Mechs for use during the Tournament.
  
• In-game currency and experience is only provided to participating accounts, and only on the dedicated Tournament Build. These injections do not carry over to the main MechWarrior Online client.
  
• Any and all Loadout restrictions or guidelines will be detailed prior to the start of the Tournament.

What's the problem if everyone would be able to buy them on tournament client anyway?

So civil mechs dont be available like kodiak for mc as before in last tournament?

While it does say in the rules that all 'Mechs will be included, we held a vote with the top contenders and even some just outside of the top 12. The majority vote was to have c-bill only 'Mechs. We are working with the top 12 to make sure things move smoothly throughout the double elimination semi-finals.

So it will be changed to C-bill mechs only? Or undecided yet?
