I am not sure why the choices of mechs & considering mechs are still being released they may have been early choices.

what I would like to see is a change to the current founders choices of mechs in this way
the lower levels where you can choose one mech - the change is choose any one mech of the initial mech choices at August 7th eg. you could choose the Spider design instead of the jenner
the Legendary founders where you get all four mechs currently this would change to choose any four mechs but only one from each weight class of the initial mech choices at August 7th eg. could choose the Spider & the tebuchet instead of the jenner & hunchback.

All mechs like the current ones are prime configurations only.
Surely this would add minimal coding & adding the founders skin paint job would also be minimal.
This would also give the following benefits
- greater battlefield variety of mechs
- may increase the sale of higher tier founders packs

The Founder 'Mechs aren't just painted differently -- the models are slightly different. It is unlikely that they would do a Founder version of every 'Mech.

Maybe I missed a devs post somewhere, but it was my understanding the Founders mechs are the original versions of those mech and come with NO IMPROVEMENTS. In other words any one can buy one at a later date and barring you improving yours they would have the same mech.

As to trade outs I'm willing to bet you a few C-Bills that the devs have considered this option. Unfortunately were all going to have to wait to see if it gets implemented now (I like the idea based on diversity for the grand opening) or possible implemented at a later date.

correct Cmdr - the founders mechs are prime configuration only - which is all I asked for the other mechs as well
so I could possibly choose the following
Spider - instead of jenner - maybe someone wants a cicada
Trebuchet - instead of hunchback - maybe someone wants a centurion
Catapult - I keeping the catapult since there is nothing like an archer or crusader currently this will have to do - maybe someone wants the dragon
Atlas keeping it cause until the clans come along there is nothing close to this IS or clan maybe someone wants the awesome

So please Devs consider allowing the other mechs to be available as I mentioned 7 for 5 against atm - 5 of the 7 would also upgrade their package which means more money for you guys!!!
