I never said i was great just not antisocial.

that's the closest you've gotten to being right about anything ... and you should probably be more careful with the zipper, from the sounds of your "brooklyn'ness" aint going to be many people lining up in your life to do that for ya ... I guess your one of those people who is too stupid to realise, that a big part of whats wrong with the world, is all the stupid people, so I'm really not interested in arguing with you about anything, your clearly a better forumwarrior than MechWarrior .... but if you ever get near tier1 games, we can sort it out then ....

Mute button is very handy for when you just don't wanna listen to a particular someone.

It would be much better if it worked in reverse, everyones muted and only players worth hearing get heard .... pretty rare in the PUG queue ....

another primary reason I gave up with it, was that some nub would call something, there would be a half agreement it would happen, 3 minutes later, I'm the only person who ever went near the plan ... if somneones typing speed is so slow that typing isn't an option at all, well I'm worried about the rest of their ability to drive, and how that relates to what hope in hell the team gets ...

yeah there you go, show us where your real talents are ... not on the battlefield ... in the forums .... but you pretty much summed it all up with the amount of technical information in your first post here 'check settings' ...

Impressive argument guys, Impressive indeed..

we have on one hand.. the Voip is worthless crew, which in turn brought out the QP is then worthless crew

so somewhere between Faction play for life and voip is OP you have now turned it in to a forum grammar pissing match

EXCELLENT !!!

Let me just sum this up and put a bow tie on top, (you know keep all the children smiling)

Voip is required, this is a game of infinite tactical moves occurring second by second: listen to your lights, (we are your eyes and ears)
use your mic to communicate unless you can move with one hand and type with the other and point with the other.. use the god damn mic

keep it clean, keep it simple.. i dont need the technical battle plans of this battle station, i just need to know where the hole is... point me in the direction and move...

Like i say at the beginning of every match.... "comms check blue team" i get some reply from one of you worthless civco rejects, then i end it with "try to shoot something b4 you die"

To answer Gorantir, my in-match VOIP works fine, always has.
My original concern was that multiple VOIP applications in-game promotes poor team communication.

And to B-2nd - I like the way you tie your ribbon.

Would it be unreasonable to suggest 3rd party VOIP can be used everywhere else inside of the application but ONLY the integrated VOIP in a match.
In this way, players can develop a plan , or group beforehand, talk about politics and religion, then when the match starts the in-game VOIP will allow all teammates to share tactical information.

I'm ready to dodge rotten tomatoes folks, so let-em-rip.
Peace

well, this is the normal, always has been, always will be .... and to those who believe VOIP is the way, tell me how well it goes when theres more than one language being used .... yeah .... or when some nublet decides that everyone should know every thought they have in their over simplified head .... but the one that really gets me, is when the lurm boats talk about themselves in the third person, like protecting them was the objective ....

part of the problem with this, is the assumption that all players want to help with tactical information .... you'll find players that want to spoil the game, and it happens more often that some might like to admit .... I can instantly think of a few players who I've seen deliberately tell the team to go the opposite way, so they can score a kill, and I'm talking top tier players too .... I remember this one guy, that insisted on making his team suicide multiple times, so that he could spend 10 minutes facing all enemy alone ....

if PGI really wanted 'proper' battles, they would have included a planning phase .... a commander would have been able to pre-assign orders/pathways and plans before spawn .... but, they dont ... and I believe its very deliberate .... after a couple of team failures, buying that hero deathstrike probably seems more 'worthwhile' .... and I'd bet money that that is their logic ... I'd bet the money I'm very reluctant to hand to PGI for, more of the same .... imagine how the game would 'flow' if each team had the ability to have an actual commander .... who isnt meant to be driving a mech on the field ... actually coordinating stuff .... and then stop dreaming about stuff thats 'too hard' for the devs to implement ....
