The description sounds great. Have yet to be able to see the video due to network restrictions at work.. sometimes it lets me view youtube videos.. other times it takes forever to buffer and other times, like now, it refuses to buffer at all. From the snapshot of the first frame, and the description, I can see this is going to be an interesting map that isn't just another map.. this is a purpose built, carefully crafted piece of living art.

Oh wait.. it just buffered.. ok.. looks good. I can see a lot of opportunities for adding destructible and semi-destructible environments there. All those tanks and pipes etc.. Maybe not completely destroy.. but maybe shoot a pipe and have steam/acid come out etc.

Also.. those flamers look a bit.. I dunno.. a bit strange.. they are more like blow torches than they are flame throwers.. is that intentional?

The map looks like hell. Literally, Hell. But in a challenging to fight there kind of way. Plenty of you noticed the Awesome-8Q, but there's also our first in-game view of the Centurion-9AL & Hunchback-4SP. If the mechs are being added to the game in the order they were announced, isn't the Raven next? :)

Oh.. one thing I wanted to say was that with all those resources, this would be a world worth fighting over for supplies of those materials.. which would tie in nicely with persistent world "campaigns".. take hold of this rock and you get a bonus to resources etc

Those flame throwers look pretty weak now don't they? Like.... the flame goes right threw the model.

So we've got a regular forest map, a cold winter barren city map and now a hot volcano map? When will we see a standard city map?

From what I have seen so far.. they aren't just doing maps based on an art theme alone.. so they are going to be working on an urban map that is not only urban and city.. but functional in some way. Some "thing" about it is going to force people to play in certain ways that is different to the other maps.. I can't think of anything off the top of my head other than maybe making JJ stuff more valuable.. but I'm sure that's what they are trying to do for all the new original maps.. so it's not just another generic map with different colours but truly different maps that affect the way you play the game.

Devs are currently working on an unrban environment, and you will see it released as their next map.

Fighting in a corosive, super heated environment over a mineral rich slab of rock...

I expect triple hazard pay.

Once for the intense fighting sure to take place over such a valuable resource.

Twice for the intense environment that is sure to wreak havoc on my mech.

Thrice for the cancer I am sure to develope down the road from being exposed to such an evironment.
