the Clans have reached Terra

edit:
I tried pointing out the problems with this thread
and then with this one

https://mwomercs.com...__fromsearch__1

I get absolutely nothing out of FP I am just a target for units to shoot at but I was hoping
some of the larger teams/units would realize the issues and bring it up to PGI

todays map-- it took me almost 15mins to find this planet in relation to the front and the whole galaxy
Posted Image

you see when you see a voted for planet and then click on it [ the screen snaps to that planet to quickly to
the planet]

so you cant really see where you are fighting
players/units/teams are not getting a sense of how they fit into the big picture of FP/CW(teams also)

so it looks like what is happening is after an attack phase someone (or it could be PGI) is going in
and putting down a bunch of votes on some obscure planet

notice that the vote dictates where you will attack
so even if the IS wanted to slow down the advance toward terra you cant because you will be fighting for some planet way way out there (because some unit is using there alt account to vote on it)

and now the front in relation to the voted on planet

all this contributes to the argument of Clan to IS imbalance
people get frustrated and salty and FP slowly dies

emersion is not the end all be all but it sure helps keep the paying customers involved
and paying

I could be wrong about all this
but that's what I am seeing
that is some team or teams are using there alternate accounts
and as soon as the attack phase is over they go and vote on some out of the way planet
this prevents IS from fighting against the Clans movement toward Terra
and other capital planets quicker

Well, about the same problem exists on clan side. My guess is it's some units that put their vote on one planet, no matter if the direction that leads to makes sense.

The problem seems to be that there is no decent tool for factions to communicate. The chat thingie in-game is a joke, and the factions have no forum that only they can access. So there is no way to plan where to strike and which way to move.

Before the Tuk3 event, on one occasion there way a very strange thing happening: IS took a planet they attacked from one of the "islands" we had in our territory and immediately in the next attack phase they attacked the planet further in. How could they have voted on a planet that was out of reach?

But, well, since the map get's a reset every once in a while and there is no real reward to conquer a planet, the match is the reward.

someone brought up a good point in the FP forum area
I will never get a tag on a planet so I did not know but you can exploit the system for MC if you have a unit

As you can see from today's IS Loyalist Leader board the top 10 IS Loyal units have historically taken 48 planets (compared to Clan 311) and no IS team holds a Planet or is gaining (MC).

This new phase has left a lot of people short changed for their in-game efforts. Albeit the systems works we just need a spare 1000+ consistent players at all times lol. As it stands even with COMA using FULL cheese strategy. Clean fast wins... over and over, we actually still can't take a damn planet with the current population diversity. Not encouraged, but forced to play the game in a very un-sportsmanship way. And still to no avail.

well it looks like things are not working how they intended

Russ says we will be Voting at the front

Nothar-- I am on line all the time

the Clan can basically peg the meter to the Clan side all day until all the North American's go to bed
then the Euro players move the slider toward the IS side
so if you wanted to get a planet for MC before 5am Zulu vote for some out of the way planet
then you show up in FP about 11am Zulu and see if the bar has moved to the IS side
if it is start hitting the planet Hard for a few hours (so you need to vote in advance of your play time)

if you can hold the planet at the end of the attack phase you will almost guarantee that the Clans wont vote to retake
the planet since they are focused on going the other direction

Yeah cheers, wont matter now though muppet's have arrived, i mean mercs have arrived. 228 have been here for little over a week now and apparently more units have shifted over this week. But for how long.

Lets just keep letting them have the freedom to do what they want when they want and to dictate the game for us. Since its worked so well in all the other phases... .

Reee, they'll switch to is and roll back up the map, just wait, they are farming mc like they always do, it's the only gains from fp to be had worth any amount of ghost dropping/cheesetrolling

That's odd. When I vote, I look at the map first to figure out what I'd like to see attacked, then I look for it in the list of target planets. No problem.
