Pretty sure the last time we got a time advance and tech update, PGI put a lot of time and resources doing it. Think that has zero chance of happening again.

Also the last one brought stealth armor, racs, and atm's so I really don't want to see another round of that kind of troll/power creep.

Yes but this time we get to troll RAC and ATM users with heat-inducing, damage-dealing Plasma Rifles.

Half-weight AC/10 that adds 10 heat to the target and fits into an energy hardpoint.

pgi needs to abandon all reason, if they had any in the first place, the kind of balance a room full of 13 year olds do.
go back and do insane buffs and insane quirks for all the potato tier mechs.
de-marginalize skill nodes, like increase their power by at least a factor of 1.5
buff seldom used weapons.
add a bunch of equipment no matter how ludicrous.
every person on the balance team needs to address 10 line items per day.
spheroid omnis sure why the hell not.
add protomech and super-heavy mechs.
change the drop deck rules where you can have as many mechs as you want so long as they fit in the tonnage allotment (8 protos or 2 super heavies).
quads (pgi are clowns anyway, so circus mechs ok).
just do something. no! not thinking! you aint cut out for that. were talking action proper.

If you compare all the salty 'EARMERGERD Epic store = uninstall' people with their jarlslist... it was evident it was a long time since many of them even had it installed in the first place. I wouldn't take their bluster as representing reality.

As for the actual community, it is in the long slow decline one expects of older games with zero development being put into them.

I would love it, but knowing PGI they'd give it 5 +2.5+2.5 splash and slower velocity than an AC20.

Well, ya got nothing to lose now by unleashing all the nifty weapons like Artemis and Long Tom! Heck why stop there and go the full monty and leave it all hanging out; X-Pulse, Plasma Cannons, and whatever other weapon system they didn't make it into the game these past 7 years or so.

Quit killing me Nine-Ball it gets tiresome Actually what I would like to see is all XP as General XP to use among any mech you have. I know the original reason they didn't do this was that you learned to pilot that specific mech for realism, but honestly the realism was tossed out long ago. It would be great for those hard to skill up mechs that you give up leveling because its so painful. Im probably not making sense, I am just getting over the flu.
