Just a quick reminder that many of the trial mechs carry many of the weapons required for the event.
Some, like the Kodiak with C-UAC-5 and C-UAC-10, even carry multiple.

Yes, but keep in mind that the only event you can complete with Trial Mechs is Clan Gauss.

If only trials were redone prior to this event to include the rest of the ballistics, sucks to be new.

To further clarify Bombast's statements, only the reward from the "Clan Gauss Rifle Challenge" can be earned using just Trial 'mechs. They didn't say you can't progress parts of a challenge, just that you can only complete one of them.
