So I went and spoke to my oreo juggling monk advisors about my options.

As it stands, I am not feeling any form of allegiance to any faction thus far (Though the Draconis Combine looks interesting) nor have I found a Merc Corp that can really draw me in yet. So I am pretty much left with the options of either making my own organization or going rogue and lets face it. A guy rocking the title "Outlaw" is most likely gonna go rogue.

So here is something I propose. I'm gonna go free agent for a bit. If anyone is looking for an ally who isn't associated with any faction/corp/clan or w/e, hit me up and lets talk. If I like ya well enough, i'll see about helping you out when the game actually gets started.

As of this moment I am NOT looking to join anyone's organization. Please stop sending me invites and links to your websites. I do NOT want to look at another one for a while. They all look the same to me so I could really care less. What I do care about is the people. I'd like to meet awesome people in this game without being shackled to a particular group, at least till I find one that does interest me wich I will find on my own and not through web link spam.

Since getting to know people is a two way street I guess i'll start by giving a sample of info on myself...

I am a former Navy Cryptologist/Electronic Warfare Specialist.
I have an addiction to just about everything Japanese.
I'm 23 years old.
I hate discussing politcs, religion and the military. (I can stand the military a bit but don't push me on it)
I plan on piloting a Jenner for starters.
I am a generally well known pilot on ACV.
While I do well in disciplined organizations for a time I do tire of the overly serious BS.
Aircrafts Carriers suck
I am fairly easily amused.

Are you familiar with the works of Sun-Tzu and the I Ching? (Chinese texts, not Japanese I know)

Sun-Tzu only slightly, I Ching no.

I know Sun-Tzu wrote the book of war and that his writings are also what inspired the rise of Ninja in Japan. How very odd...

If you are into the whole Sun-Tzu and I-Ching thing then I highly suggest reading the Book of Five rings by Miyamoto Musashi.

Read the Five Rings. Should read it again...

Miyamoto Musashi, the Samurai who never lost a duel and wiped out an entire clan in a single day (Not even on purpose).

GAFB and/or Huachuca? Got a DLI stint in there somewhere?

Old Army 98C/98G w/language. I think the Army calls them 35-series now.

Nope, never been there.

I was a CTT... in theory. I gathered radar emissions and if they were a hostile threat, I jammed them... in theory.

I was aboard the USS Carl Vinson last.

Huh. I went through Huachuca back in 1996, and we never did radar stuff (I was SIGINT), but I could have sworn they did radar training and jamming there. Where's their school if you don't mind me asking?

CTT School? Pensacola Florida on Cory Station.

Tiny, tiny base. Used to be an old airfield. Hot and humid as hell.

I just recently spent a week in Pensacola. I was on the beach, mind you. Not stuck in uniform on a base. Heh. Big difference.

I remember flying into the airport they have there, not sure when you were there. But it's a new airport. So new that it doesn't show up on my phone's GPS. Which is insane. It showed me as being in the middle of a sea of green. I had to save the lat/long so I could find my way back to the airport, because the conventional directions and the vehicle's GPS would only take me to the old airport, which apparently had been closed and was in demolition stages.

Yea Pensacola messes with alot of GPSs. Alot has changed there over the years. Especially around the beach. The GPS we had was useless once we got the sea was in sight. Kept saying we were driving into the Gulf XD

I am extremely curious how this game will play out. Will it be like ACV where you have to be on a team to do anything? Will it allow lances that are short a member or two hire some solo mercs to round off their number? So many possibilities...

And what about us one man armies? What gameplay is available to us?

From what I have read MWO is focused on team play, so you won't want to be on a part of the map without teammates near by. Lances that are short a few pilots will be filled by the lone wolves, so if you want someone to work with you it would be smart to try to join a game with a full lance men from your merc corp.

If you have ever played any of the Mech Commander games you would know that 2 or more mediums can take down a heavier mech with surprising speed and efficiency. As far as game play goes they have confirmed 3 game modes: Capture the area, Team Death match (1 life only), and drop-ship mode which is team deathmatch with 3 lives.

And here I thought I heard they catered to all styles of play. Ah well.
