Since the Commando IIC and UrbanMech IIC get quite some positive attention here I was wondering what you guys think of adding the Commando IIC, UrbanMech IIC and Wolfhound IIC to the game as reinforcements for ~$5 each. Since they all consist of 1 variant each, neither of them merits full blown 3+2+HERO packs with mostly invented variants. But they all share the exact same weight as their IS conterparts (unlike Locust IIC, Griffin IIC, Shadow Hawk IIC, etc) so they could just be added as clan tech variants using the models we already have and added clan camo patterns.

I think this would be a good way to add the Urbi and Commando (maybe even the Wolfhound, even though we basically got is as IS hero already) to the game without disrupting the mech of the month packs.

The Locust IIC deserves it's 3+2+Hero mech pack.

What do you guys think?

All clan lights would be nice.
But lets face it, we ll get a 20 ton and that will be the last clan light ever. Posted Image

If it can fit into an Ultimate pack (3+2+Hero) release those for pre-order. The IICs that are single variants, keep those for Annual Rewards.

Best of both worlds.

Not that I'm PGIs target audience, but I hope they get off the IIC train. There's a bunch already, and I'd prefer more interesting, varied, new designs over Clan rehashes.

Kinda with Bombast, would rather see us dive into new territory when it comes to mechs like IS Omnis or Celestial series (and quads).

URBIE IIC! A little smoother around the edges, the cockpit a little cleaner, and always ready to scare freebirths.

Locust IIC looks like a tough little mofo.

The Commie IIC is a decent gundam but a bit forgettable.

Urbie IIC is just for funzies.

Lolcust IIC is mandatory. We need more meta lights. Why Yeonne Greene liked the posts that ask for MWO to never see the Locust IIC, I'll never know.

We still need the Urbie IIC to properly determine the fate of the Inner Sphere.

Between Urbanmechs as nature intended.

The Commando IIC would be respectable with it's babby-size and could manage things like quad SRM 2 with the 2E+4M layout.

Locust IIC means a Clantech 25-tonner that does much of what the IS version does. I do like em all, but then I'm fond of a lot of Clan Battlemechs, vs Omnis.

Because I sympathize with the "pls no more Clan rehashes of IS 'Mechs" and "IS Omnis" ideas.

I won't not buy an LCT-IIC if it does end up in the game, tho'.

Urbie IIC would be awesome, Commando IIC might be fun. Locust IIC is probably too meta for MWO. The basic Locust is already nasty, the Clan version with 9 pinpoint-accurate energy hardpoints would be pure death on (v. fast) legs.

Personally though I'm with Bombast when it comes to Clan lights - bring in the Clan designs rather than IIC Clan copies (UrbanMech IIC excepted). Would love to see them add the Horned Owl or Incubus Posted Image

I'm fine with skipping IICs that don't add anything meaningful to the Clan arsenal, but I don't support leaving holes in the lineup just because the plug is a IIC -- the Locust IIC springs to mind.

Could live without Wolfhound IIC, TBH, being a unique design....
and having plenty of light energy boats already.

But yeah, Locust Commie and Urbie all would be very welcome.

The clan 2c would make their is counterparts except maybe the heroes all but extinct. I see the jenner 2c far more than the is jenner yet both have all the ct jenner problems. Clan version is only better because it has no xl death and doesn't need to give up valuable weight for an lxe dropping even more the effective limited fire power is lights have.

I'd love to see pgi make a clan version of the spider 5v. Not even a clan xl would make that pos use able or desirable over other variants.

Well, a Spider 5V IIC would get to pack double Clan ERLL in its CT...for whatever that's worth.

I'm just on a really long hiatus until something interesting happens to the game. I haven't found motivation to redownload the game after my friend left it since we used to que up together. It's boring just soloing up alone. I will redownload it if PGI doesn't screw up on the design of my pet mech.

I always imagined it octagonal or hexagonal than cylindrical.

It's hero is gonna be named "El Gringo Loco", and the sensor by the head would be painted to look like a sombrero.
