This chassis was my favorite for a long time but as always PGI ***** anything decent. Half the assaults have better agility than this medium just because it has great hardpoints and placement. That is it. It has nothing more than that, for any form of boating it has a variant, and main guns are at headlevel. Because of that it is being nerfed on 1 area where it needs a buff. It already has a great weakness, horrible hitboxes and general durability. Anyone who played with this thing a while would know if you are under fire, you are ******. It is far too easy to shoot whatever component you want to, unlike idk stormcrow. Its great offensive potential is balanced by how easy it is to bully one of these mechs. And all the nerfs is doing is pidgeonholing the chassis into long range role, which no matter what PGI would do to chassis, will still perform great because you know what? Torso angles and torso twist matters very little at long range. If you have JJs and good harpoint placement, you will do well even without quirks. In the end those who suffer is going to be the ones that try to play this mech in short range. Those builds that already were suffering due to SPL/MPL nerfs now again with more agility nerfs.
Mediums in general need agility buffs because they need to be agile to play as a medium. They dont have much armor, nor do they have much speed, and they are large enough that anyone wants to hit you can hit with ease. Imo all mediums at least should have 100 twistrate /60 turnrate and 30ish acc/dec. All of them should be above heavies+ in terms of agilty because literally that is their only advantage against heavies. And in order to fight off lights they need a good amount otherwise they are just worse heavies for them to munch on.(and it is a medium's job to bully them away, because lets face it no heavy or assault is going to hit a half decent light properly with those horrific twist/turn rates) Lights are at least so small, you can barely target them properly let alone aim at components (except the newly resized 35 tonners that is as big as ******* 50tonners). So stop with agility nerfs when they actually need buffs. And stop pidgeonholing mechs into singular roles, some people want to play them because they like the look of them and wants to use those mechs with their own builds, not what you force them into.
