Yeah I've decided I should own at least one, so I'm trying to decide which Uziel to buy and what build it should have.

Uizel doesn't seem any awe-inspiring with it's hardpoints. I was looking over the first 3S with it's 10 cooldown for ballistic. You can take LFE250 or the stock XL300, gauss rifle, 2 tons of ammo, two JJs, and 4 ER-M.

The cooldown of gauss is pretty close to ERM cycle, and it wouldn't build up heat fast. 35 fairly concentrated damage every 5 seconds is not great, but then, it's only a medium.

Then the others have too mixed hardpoints, except 6P can take 6 energy. LFE300, 6 med pulse, bunch of extra heatsinks. About 10 DPS, fairly good sustainibility. Though when I've tried IS mechs with med pulse on QP, I'm always outranged by everything and that sucks.

Most have two high energy hardpoints, so you could take poptart with either ERPPCs or heavy PPCs. You could have 2 HPPC, 6 JJs and LFE250.

(pls note that I don't often play IS mechs so these are not recommended builds, just something I would try first)

Time to pick up another Uziel UZL-6P!

For anyone wondering which Uziel to get, the UZL-6P is probably the safest bet.

It can PPC poptart like a (squishy) champ and has enough Energy hardpoints for reasonable laser vomit.

The UZL-3S is a decent alternative if you want to go faster than 105.3kph before skills.

ill do what I always do. wait for a sale on the mechs. 30 to 50%. I would like an Uziel but I can wait.

Wish the Uziel hadn't turned out to be subpar. Personally I think it's garbage. The hardpoints suck except for maybe the 6P. But Clan laser vomit can easily overwhelm IS laser vomit. If there was a variant with 3-4 missile hardpoints then it might be worth something in this game. Hate to rely on missiles but the only thing it has going for it is it's speed.

Hate yourself... get you an Uziel.
With the latest buffs it got a bit better. My best working Uziel ist the "Belial" in a 2MRM20, 4ErSL loadout with an 255LFE. I use it as a mid range fiire support. It is the only UZL chassis I have fun to play.
The UZL-3S, 2S and 3P work only when you manage to stay invisible. Else everyone is going for the easy kill.
Compared to the CDA-2A the UZL-6P is not really better. In my oppinion as an harasser Cicada does better as an Uziel.

The Uziel is soo bad they have to bring it in for C-Bills. Don't bother buying it for real cash

Bought one Uziel, because of nostalgic and collective reason...
