FP is for units; but, units enmasse are leaving FP.

We no longer drop FP and haven't since June: no logical reason or point..... (that's 58 of us and some of us occasionally drop solo or 2-3 pilot groups; events only). My original team left MWO completely.

The choice is yours.....
It's far more profitable to QP than wait for hours waiting on FP to get stomped...... It's whatever is "value-added" to you... I'm retiring from MWO in 4 days to play Overmatch and will keep a MWO account to see what happens...... MW is a lot of fun and if PGI returns to the storyline FP is suppose to be, the great struggle between the IS, Mercs and the Clan, many will return.

Be well.

Are they leaving? We're still getting fights...maybe not as many as before Tukayyid III, but...people are still playing.

Call it whatever you want, but it isn't warfare by any stretch of any imagination in any frame of reference..... period. I've stepped in puddles deeper than this.

I'm liking this quote just for the puddle reference.

But FP is obviously more profitable since you get LP. QP only gives you c-bills/xp and most veterans have plenty of those.

Honestly, if you gonna play solo. Go with clan, the slight advantages they have means u will win most times vs other PUGS. Pugging as IS will only frustrate you and make you quit faction play. Most of the units still left have stacked clan. Good luck !!

Made it solo to Tier 2, no group drops, no drops with friends, nothing.

I'm wanting to check out Faction Play but hear many negative things about it.

I don't have a clue on how to play but it looks interesting to me, new objectives, new/different maps, etc...

Any reason not to pursue it?

Since you already stated it: You know nothing about groupplay.

DO NOT DROP INTO FP AS SOLO POTATOE

Edit: and as others stated: outside the events there isn't much going on in FP because PGI managed to drive away big Units from FP.

Drop solo as Clan.

Don't do it as IS unless you've got serious issues with your happiness in life and like it that way.

It's still a game, but you're gonna lose. A lot.

Clan? Go ahead, enjoy. Kick butt take names, and if you have premium time and a good bonus from contracts, earn 1m cbills every 45 minutes or so, 20 minutes of fighting, 5 minutes of loading, 20 minutes of seeing the word SEARCHING.

IS? Sure, if you don't mind losing regularly enough to physically feel pain. And that's after 45 minutes' worth of waiting, loading, searching, fighting, and feeling sorry for yourself.

If you like IS mechs, stick to QP. If you want to skill up fast with clan mechs, load up for unskilled clan mechs in your drop deck and go do FP, cuz you'll be gaining XP roughly 2-3x as fast as QP.
