Should There Be Daily Rewards

Most Free to Play games give you small rewards to get players to play daily. Usually these are things that can be done in 30 minutes or so. This could greatly increase the player base because there would be extra incentive to login and play at least a game or two.
I'd like to see five small rewards that rotate daily. If you complete three of them you get a larger daily reward.
Login: 50,000 C-Bills
Win a game: 1 General Skill Point
Pilot a light Mech: 1 UAV
Pilot a Medium Mech: 1 Artillary Strike
Pilot a Heavy Mech: 1 Airstrike
Pilot an Assault Mech: 1 Coolshot
Do 1000 Damage: 500 GXP
Get 1 Kill or KMDD: 100,000 C-Bills
etc...
Complete 3 Daily Rewards: 5 MC
In addition I'd like to see a monthly reward that is bigger that you would get for playing at least one game a day for x number of days. 20-25 days of playing at least one match seems reasonable. This would be a bigger reward like a mech bay, decal, or cockpit item.
What do you think?

Also maybe a Supply Key or Cache for logging in, instead of CBills. I know nobody likes Caches, but with the rework that's supposed to be upcoming would certainly help.

Agreed.
They should link some of the rewards to faction play also. Might be a nice way to get some extra immersion into the mechwarrior universe and a reason to pledge to a faction if you're not keen to wander into the fetid swamps of the FP queues. And make QP contribute to faction play also.
And maybe completely overhaul faction play.
What were we talking about?

I mean, I get it, and I want everyone to get the candy they like. But having FP missions just sitting in my log is going to drive me crazy. Give us 'FP or QP' options, PGI!

Or have a list of scaling dailies like:
Use mech chassis (mech type) and do 200 damage.
Do 50 damage with ac 10
Do 100 damage with ac 20
Do 60 damage with micro lasers etc

Not what I was getting at.
I was thinking more along the lines of having QP rewards and daily missions actually count towards FP.
There's a huge divide between the actual nuts and bolts of faction play - the heave and haul of the great houses and clans, the struggle to claim and fortify territory, the machinations of those willing to further the goals of their factions...
...and the game mode that people actually play.
If there were some link to the faction war, it might propel new (and old) players towards actually caring about which faction they pledge themselves to, rather than "well, the green bird with the sword looks cool I guess".

Oh God, you are violating MWO rule number 1274.23-a(1:6): "thinking out-of-the-box" is a class A no-go in MWO's world of staus quo complacenacy........
I can hear the angst building..................good idea.

I might, MIGHT, log in daily to play one match and quit. Honestly at this point I don't know. I have lots of cash, historical XP, and empty mech bays sitting there and they don't get used, so I guess it might provide an incentive, if not for me for others.
I do want to predict that PGI will botch it initially though. I'm pretty sure that they will have some sort of "bundled" reward that can be done in QP, but they will add a CW/FP component to it, thus assuring myself and others never collect on it.
NOTE: yet another example of my ennui with respect to the game. Every time I make a post, I see that photobucket wants me to update my account, and I just.....don't.....care.....enough to bother.

Every day you can unlock up to 3x containers, that game's equivalent of supply cache. Most of the time you don't get anything too special, but about 1 time in 100 you get a supercontainer with potentially awesome premium content. So you keep playing hoping for something nice.
The requirement to unlock the containers is just a set amount of XP over any number of games, so it doesn't encourage people to play in an unusual or unhelpful way.

1. Win a match with 100 match score.
2. Score three kills.
3. Do 2000 damage
4. Get twelve assists
5. Get four KMDD
6. Get 4 savior kills.
7. Launch a UAV
8. Accumulate 300 match score
9. Destroy two components
10. Get 10 Mech in formation awards.
With a reward of one of the new loot crates / old crate + key as a reward. Nothing to break the bank, and something that can be done with no stress.
